Download & Installation

Important

There are two install methods: - Simple: download the runtime-included package. No extra runtime install is required. - Advanced: download the smaller runtime-required package and install .NET 10.0 Desktop Runtime x64 first.

Download the Plugin

Choose one of these packages from the latest release:

Manual Download from GitHub Releases

  1. Open: https://github.com/ROBdk97/SCStreamDeck/releases
  2. Click the latest release (top entry).
  3. Scroll to Assets.
  4. Download either:
  5. com.robdk97.scstreamdeck.runtime-included.streamDeckPlugin for the simple install method, or
  6. com.robdk97.scstreamdeck.runtime-required.streamDeckPlugin for the advanced install method.

Installation

  1. Confirm that you meet the requirements for your chosen install method above.
  2. Double-click the downloaded .streamDeckPlugin file.
  3. Create or select a profile. (Optional)
  4. In the actions panel on the right, look for Star Citizen Stream Deck.
  5. Drag the desired key from the right panel and drop it onto a key slot on the left.

The plugin needs a moment to initialize.

  • Wait until the loading spinner on the keys disappears.
  • If it can’t detect your Star Citizen installation, it will show an error message.
  • In this case, open the Control Panel key and set a custom installation path for your desired channel (LIVE, HOTFIX, PTU, EPTU, or TECH-PREVIEW).

Control Panel features

After adding the Control Panel action to a key, you can:

  1. Choose your preferred Star Citizen channel.
  2. Set a custom Data.p4k override for LIVE, HOTFIX, PTU, EPTU, or TECH-PREVIEW.
  3. Select a theme.
  4. Choose the plugin language automatically or override it manually.
